Successful Morison KSi North American conference held in Boston

This June, the city of Boston welcomed 55 delegates, including Managing Partner Allen Sloan, and 12 colleagues for the annual Morison KSi North American conference.

Prior to the conference, the North American member firms met for the annual North American members meeting. This meeting welcomed Richard Stanger and Carolyn Carlson from Stanger Carlson who led an excellent workshop on strategic business issues facing accounting firms today. The meeting also included an update on the regional action plan.

The North American conference was opened by Mark F. Sullivan, Executive Director of MOITI (Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment) who provided an informative keynote speech on business opportunities in Massachusetts.

The conference agenda consisted of a variety of presentations by member firms covering technical topics, practice management issues, marketing case studies and success stories on member firm collaboration.

In addition to the varied professional programme, delegates and companions enjoyed a memorable social programme sampling some of Boston’s highlights.

Thank you to all firms that attended and contributed to this conference. Special thanks are due to host firm, Waldron H. Rand & Company, who provided excellent assistance and support in organising this successful event.

The next Morison KSi North American conference will be combined with Morison KSi’s international conference in San Francisco in October 2018
