CPA, CA, BBA (Hons)
Chris graduated with honours from Simon Fraser University in 1994 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Early on in his education, Chris took an introductory accounting course taught by Peter Wooley, C.A., a Cambridge graduate who Chris credits with setting him on the C.A. path. He earned the Chartered Accountant designation in 1998 and has practiced public accounting in British Columbia and Ontario.
Chris has lived all over the world, from Perth, Australia to Hong Kong; and all across Canada, from Vancouver, British Columbia to Bathurst, New Brunswick, finally settling in Toronto where he has lived for the past nine years. Chris loves living in Toronto and enjoys visiting the many great attractions Toronto has to offer. On the weekends, Chris enjoys going for brunch and working on his book – The Stamps and Postal History of Nigeria. He’s so passionate about stamp collecting that if he wasn’t an accountant, Chris would be a full-time stamp dealer.
Chris most enjoys the aspects of his job that allow him to interact with clients and the satisfaction that comes from watching them succeed, as well as working with a great team of people. “I have worked in three other accounting firms in my 19 year career and I can honestly say that the people here are the finest I’ve worked with. It makes me look forward to coming in to work.”
